VIARAYA is the name of my art project. I am Valentina, a Chilean sociologist, and self-taught artist based in Dresden, Germany.

My work is primarily focused on abstract art. Through organic and minimalist forms, I invite the viewer to engage with the movement and interconnection between the figures, creating a visual experience that can be interpreted in different ways.

My work explores the fundamental nature of our world. I am interested in the idea that, although every form is unique, nothing exists in isolation. Everything is part of a greater network and everything is interconnected — Alles hängt mit Allem zusammen. This connection can be found in our societies, in all living beings, and in the universe itself. I see our own bodies as microcosms that mirror the larger macrocosm of the universe.

I mainly work with analog techniques and enjoy combining different materials and processes, including acrylic painting, embroidery, paper strips, and colored pencils. Through these materials, I explore texture, rhythm, movement, and the relationships that emerge between individual elements.
