VIARAYA is the art project of Valentina Araya, Chilean sociologist, cultural manager, and self-taught artist based in Dresden, Germany.

Her artwork is an exploration of abstraction. Through organic and minimalist forms gestures, her artwork invites the viewer to engage in a visual exercise of interconnection and movement of the depicted figures.

Her work explores the fundamental nature of our world: even though every form is unique, each one is part of a greater network. Everything is interconnected - Alles hängt mit Allem zusammen: our societies, all living beings and the universe itself. Our own bodies contain a microcosm that mirrors the macrocosm of the universe.

Primarily working with analog formats, she combines various techniques, including acrylic painting, embroidery, paper and colored pencils.
