VIARAYA is the art project of Valentina Araya, a Chilean sociologist, cultural manager, and self-taught artist based in Dresden, Germany.

Her artwork is an exploration of abstraction, expressed through organic and minimalist forms. The organic gestures in her artwork invite the viewer to engage in a visual exercise of interconnection and movement of the depicted figures.

Her work is part of a reflection on the fundamental nature of our world: while every form is unique, there are shared features that link them within a greater network. Everything is connected: our societies, all living beings and the universe itself. Our bodies hold a microcosm, mirroring the vast universal macrocosm.

Primarily working with analog formats, she combines various techniques, including acrylic painting, embroidery, paper and colored pencils.
